This project focuses on the design, execution, and long-term support of a
Vertical Shaft Men & Material Winding Automation System for underground mining
operations. The system is engineered to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient transportation
of personnel and materials through vertical mine shafts.

The complete automation solution is built on Siemens industrial platforms,
integrating Siemens PLC S7-300, Siemens Drives, and a
SCADA-based monitoring & control system. This architecture enables
precise control, real-time monitoring, advanced fault diagnostics, and enhanced
operational safety even in harsh mining environments.
